Avantium R&D Solutions has recently completed a 12-year collaboration with a major catalyst supplier, providing high-throughput catalyst testing services for ethylene oxide (EO) catalyst development.

During this long-term collaboration, more than 200 catalyst screening and deactivation campaigns were conducted. The work supported the evaluation of catalyst performance while delivering the high-quality and consistent data required for long-term performance assessment.

Using high-throughput experimentation, Avantium R&D Solutions supported the catalyst development program aimed at identifying more selective and environmentally friendly catalysts. The collaboration demonstrates how systematic catalyst screening and deactivation testing can provide valuable data throughout long-term catalyst development programs.
