New patent awarded for innovative naphtha reforming catalyst benchmarking
A new patent has been granted for a cutting-edge test design aimed at benchmarking Continuous Catalyst Regeneration (CCR) catalysts in refineries. The patent, awarded to Avantium, introduces a novel approach to evaluate the performance of multiple catalysts utilizing the Flowrence® 16-parallel reactors system.
The patented test design introduces an innovative method of simulating real-world dynamic conditions of commercial CCR units. This allows for an unprecedented level of precision in evaluating the performance of CCR catalysts.
